Charity Spring strengthens the management, operations, fundraising and governance of nonprofit organizations through educational tools, coaching, workshops and information sharing that help small to medium size charities meet the needs of their communities.
For much of this work we use Marilyn Donnellan’s 17 “Hour Series” guides, more than 400 pages of templates, sample policies and procedures, and guidelines for every aspect of nonprofit management. We also use 14 training modules, including the “Hour Series” guides. These materials were developed by Marilyn, a Charity Spring Advisor, after serving for more than 20 years as an executive leader in United Way Worldwide and 10 years as an in-demand consultant. United Way Worldwide is a network of nearly 1,800 community-based United Ways in 45 countries and territories. The United Way concept was founded in the USA in 1887, and has since grown into one of the world’s largest NGO’s and is a preeminent leader in training, coordination, advocacy, and the sharing of best practices.
