Charity Spring Innovations
In addition to its core capacity building services, Charity Spring is bringing innovations to donor relations, special events and marketing communications to small and medium size charities.
Hippie Tendencies (here and here) writes music with a message – and perhaps for your charity. Here is their Youtube channel. Charity Spring is working with these talented artists based in Verona, Italy, to create new ways to advance causes and to thank donors through song, music video and performance. Led by the warm voice of the charismatic American singer/ songwriter Lisa Marie Simmons, accompanied by four prestigious Italian musicians, Marco Cremaschini on piano, Massimo Saviola on Bass, Cesare Valbusa on Drums, and Christian Codenotti on Acoustic Guitar, Hippie Tendencies defies genre labeling, but its strengths are clearly Jazz, Pop, Blues, and Folk.
Lisa and Marco are artists-in-residence at Lou Casteou, which will host a luxurious cultural retreat, 21st April to 26th April 2013. This beautiful chateau is located in the stunning Esterel mountains and yet just 5 minutes from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. Lou Casteou was built in 1904 by Lord Amherst of London and retains its original architectural features. Over the last 4 years Lou Casteou has been lovingly restored to its former beauty with the added benefits of tasteful luxury and state of the art technology, located 45 minutes from Nice airport and 35 minutes from Cannes.
Lisa Bell became a professional singer and songwriter twelve years ago to promote the healing benefits of music and positive living. Based in Boulder, Colorado and working with a host of legendary artists (one of her videos here), Lisa’s international career extends her gifts and wisdom far and wide. Today, Lisa is both a successful performing artist and a coach to emerging artists – and to nonprofits – working to strengthen their communications.
Lisa demonstrates in her work and volunteer leadership that music can change the world because it changes people. One of Lisa’s many collaborators is fellow team member here, Lisa Marie Simmons and Hippie Tendencies. Music brings people together. Where words leave off, Lisa’s powerful art begins. Charity Spring promotes the use of music to advance charitable causes because music expresses what cannot be said but what must not be left silent. Lisa is one of the very few who know how to set a good cause to music.
